This is My Story.

Hi, I’m Shanay, and my path has been one of bold leaps, deep devotion, and an unwavering trust in the unknown. My journey began long before my work as a nurse and paramedic—it began as a child, deeply connected to the unseen realms, who felt the pulse of something greater but turned away out of fear. For years, I hid my gifts, tucking them away until life and spirit called me back with undeniable force. In my career as a nurse and paramedic, I walked with souls through the profound thresholds of life and death. Holding space for patients in their final moments, I witnessed their spirits transition, awakening a deep remembering within me. But these sacred moments came at a cost. The trauma I witnessed left me feeling disconnected, numb, and stuck. PTSD gripped my life, initiating me into a dark night of the soul that challenged everything I thought I knew about myself and the world.

In that darkness, I discovered a profound truth: I didn’t just want to survive—I wanted to feel alive, connected, and whole. This pivotal moment of remembering set me on a path of deep transformation, requiring me to leave the safety of my career and leap boldly into the unknown. Trusting the whispers of my soul, I embarked on the path of the pilgrim. That leap led me to the Amazon rainforest and the sacred lands of Peru, where I spent over six months immersed in the teachings of ancient medicine lineages. Through my initiations with Master Plant Teachers like Ayahuasca, I began to unravel the layers of my psyche, my emotional body, and my soul’s journey. Ayahuasca first came to me in my dreams, calling me to the Amazon, where I studied with the Shipibo-Konibo and Yawanawa elders. Her teachings revealed the wisdom hidden within my trauma, showing me how to alchemize pain into power, fear into love, and doubt into worthiness.

But her teachings extended beyond ceremony. I began to listen deeply to the Earth—feeling the songlines of the gridlines, the whispers of the land, and the dreaming realms that weave through time and space. Through devotion to the dreaming and deep listening, I came to understand the sacred language of the Earth and the interconnected web of all life. These teachings reminded me that the dark night of the soul is not something to fear—it is sacred ground for transformation, an initiation into the realms of sacred medicine. Today, I continue to walk the path of the pilgrim, traveling to ancient lands, listening to Earth Mother’s wisdom, and weaving these teachings into the work I share. I have devoted my life to the Arts of Sacred Medicine, studying, mastering, and now teaching Reiki, somatic energetics, and the wisdom of embodiment. My journey is one of continual learning—a spiral of expansion and deepening, rooted in the medicine wheel. As both student and guide, I walk this path with humility, knowing the journey has no end, only ever-deepening layers.

The work I share is born from this devotion—a weaving of ancient energetics, reiki, sacred medicine, and the transformative art of remembering. Through my programs, retreats, and teachings, I guide others to reclaim their power, awaken their unique medicine, and align with their sovereign blueprint. This is not just my work—it is my calling and my devotion. I believe every soul carries a unique medicine, a story that has the power to transform, and a vision meant to create ripples of change.
